Where the names come from
The forge and the ravens.
Sales AI made outreach louder. We built a forge for fewer, better messages.
Crafting deals, not spam.
Forgeby joins “forge” with “by”, the Nordic word for village: the forge village. The anvil is our mark because selling is a craft. You strike while the iron is hot, work the details and build something that lasts.
Meet the cast. One job each.
Made, not born. Each one carries a name from the Norse stories, and one job.
Thought and Memory fly out at dawn. By 07:45 you know who to call.

Kvasirthe one you ask
Two tribes of gods had been at war. When they made peace, they made a man from it, Kvasir, so wise that no question stumped him. He travelled the world and taught wherever he went.
Skaldskaparmal, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Kvasir- Here
- Ours is made too, not born, and says so. Ask him in the app, in Slack or in Claude. Every fact comes with a source and a date, or a plain “I don’t have that.” Each week he tells you what he learned. He talks. The cast follows through.
- May touch
- Reads what your workspace may read. Every fact comes with a source and a date, or a plain “I don’t have that.”
- Keeps
- Remembers what you tell him for your seat, and tells you each week what he learned.

Huginnthought
Every dawn a raven named Huginn flies out over the whole world. By breakfast he is back and tells what he saw and heard.
Gylfaginning, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Huginn- Here
- Back every weekday at 07:45, in the app or in Slack, with who to call, why now and what to say. The first follow-ups are already drafted.
- May touch
- Reads your accounts and their public signals. Writes nothing on his own.
- Keeps
- Keeps no notes of his own. He reads the team's memory.

Muninnmemory
Muninn is the other raven. An old poem worries that thought might not come back, and worries more that memory will not.
Grimnismal, Poetic Edda, c. 1270
Muninn- Here
- Preps every meeting, sits in on the call with notice, and turns it into a cited brief. Bragi sends the follow-up. After a meeting in person, thirty seconds of spoken debrief is enough.
- May touch
- Joins a call only with notice. Reads the calendar and the mail with the people who accepted.
- Keeps
- Keeps what was agreed as facts, each with a quote and a pointer to the call.

Vörthe one who finds out
Vör is wise and full of questions. You became aware of something when you found it out, and the old word for aware was her name.
Gylfaginning, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Vör- Here
- Ours learns each company and watches what changes: hiring, funding, new leaders, tenders won. Each change carries a source and a date. Companies, never private lives.
- May touch
- Public company sources only. Companies, never private lives.
- Keeps
- Keeps each change with its source and its date.

Vidarthe silent one
Vidar is the silent god, of a wide land of high grass. He says little, and the gods rely on him when it counts.
Gylfaginning c. 1220, Grimnismal c. 1270
Vidar- Here
- Tracks down the person who signs. Your LinkedIn® network comes in through your own LinkedIn export. The Forgeby extension never copies LinkedIn data. Every other lookup names its source and waits for your OK.
- May touch
- Your LinkedIn® network comes in through your own export. Every paid lookup waits for your OK.
- Keeps
- Keeps each person with the source they came from.

Bragithe poet
Bragi is the god of poetry, the best of them with words. At the feast he sits beside a guest and tells the old stories.
Gylfaginning and Skaldskaparmal, c. 1220
Bragi- Here
- Writes the draft, the follow-up and the campaign, in the voice of your best rep. Follow-ups go out on their own from your own mailbox, with time to cancel. Cold first emails wait for you unless your rules say otherwise.
- May touch
- Follow-ups leave your own mailbox after a cancel window. Cold first emails wait for you.
- Keeps
- Learns your voice from your edits. Each lesson is named and removable.

Várthe promises
Vár hears the oaths people make with each other, and punishes those who break them. Agreements were once named after her.
Gylfaginning, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Vár- Here
- Ours never punishes. She dates every promised next step and moves the deal forward on her own, with Undo. A meeting with an outside guest waits for your accept, then she books it.
- May touch
- Updates deal fields and books internal meetings. A meeting with an outside guest waits for your accept.
- Keeps
- Keeps every promise with the date it was made.

Heimdallthe watchman
The watchman of the gods lives where the bridge between the worlds begins, and guards it. He needs less sleep than a bird.
Gylfaginning, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Heimdall- Here
- Not an agent but the door. Only people your company invites get in, and each connected tool gets only what you grant. He watches the gate, never your sellers.
- May touch
- Each connected tool gets only what you grant. He watches the gate, never your sellers.
- Keeps
- Keeps the record of who came in and what each tool may read.

Mimirthe well
Under the roots of the great tree lies Mimir’s well, where wisdom and understanding are kept. Mimir, who keeps it, drinks from it and knows the old lore.
Gylfaginning, Prose Edda, c. 1220
Mimir- Here
- Ours is the well, not the keeper: one memory for the whole team, of what was said, sent and accepted, each with a source and a date.
- May touch
- A private source stays with its owner's seat. Every fact keeps a source and a date.
- Keeps
- Mail is kept 90 days. Facts keep their quote and pointer for 24 months. Lessons are named and removable.
Youthe one who decides
Here. You set the rules, the limits and how much the cast does on its own. You can cancel any send before it leaves, and one switch stops them all.
The myths are retold in our own words from the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda, in English: Brodeur, 1916; Bellows, 1923.
